Born to military parents in Frankfurt Germany. Raised in central Texas. Brandon Mitchell began his creative journey at age 5. Beginning as a novice drummer, playing for the church choir and participating in the school band in 6th grade would carve the path for being one of the greatest producers to ever live. Being in a military family, Purpose moved around quite a bit. Mostly residing in Killeen and San Antonio TX. Both parents being from the south, Purpose musical influence would come from the 70s and 80s R&B soul and hip hop that would constantly circulate his household his entire life. Being self taught as a digital music producer did not come easy. He has taken all the steps to becoming successful, graduating Full Sail University with a Bachelors, competing in countless beat battles and showcases, documenting the creative process. That has all led up to the phenomenal outcome that continues to elevate to greatness. Purpose has been making music professionally since 2006, has produced for and collaborated with some of San Antonio's most popular artist. King Kyle Lee, Liveola, Intre,Vi$ion, Derdy, Oak Capone, can be heard rapping on Purpose Beat. From live performances, to a plethora of music released, Purpose The Musician aka Doobie Drumz is the next big thing smokin. Literally!!!
